I'm reading a fiction paperback that is titled " The Shack" and here the main character is one on one with the Trinity. What would I do if I had the chance to spend a weekend having a one on one with God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit. Would we change the way we think or act? I think we would continue to be ourselves with no immediate changes, some of those who met Jesus when he was on earth didn't make a single change in their life and why would we 2000 years later be any different.

I read just finished a true story that is titled " Angel in the rubble" about a young lady who was trapped under all the concrete, wires, pipes and twisted steel. She opened her heart to God and in this mess came a person (angel) named Paul who held her hand and talked to her until she was found.

Two years ago for Christmas my daughter-n-law gave me book titled "Left to Tell" It tell how a person who is experience horrifying. In all of pain she is able to find God and He talks to her, and she as well talked to Mary mother of Jesus. She has been changed for life and now I'm reading her second book "Led by Faith". Do we get caught up in the world and forget that God is with us always and appears in many different forms.

think about Jesus's birth angels told the shepherds of the special occasion . But the star that appeared to the wise men could it have been an angel that made an appearance has an angel.

It is interesting how God speaks to us though those around us. We ask for Jesus to come into our heart and then someone shows up to help and we close the door. We wait for the Holy Spirit to tell us right or wrong and sometimes we don't like the answer, then we find ourselves back on our knees asking for the Father or the Son to come to our aid.

Interesting how some say God tells them to do this or God tells them to do that. But when asked how do they know they usually don't have an answer. When God speaks it will be through the Holy Spirit and supported through the Holy Bible.

On this day how many cried out Father help us? And how many hear the Holy Spirit tell them not to be afraid I'm here to comfort you in your time of need? We never no that answer but God was at Pearl Harbor on that clear morning watching - listening and comforting.

Hitting theaters across the country the movie "The Shack" written by Wm Paul Young in March. One needs to remember that the story is fiction but it shows how we quench the Spirit.

A tallit is worn by Jewish men, it is placed on their head and either around there face or just infront of their face to cut out the distractions of the world when talking to God. On the four corners are tzitzit with a blue cord going through it about 12 inches long. For them they represent would be the Holy Spirit, it is a concent reminder there is one that is greater then them. And later Jesus appears to all, He wore a tallit and there are records of the sick touching His tzitzit and being healed a woman who had bleeding issues for 12 years touch the tzitzit and gotten healed. Maybe just maybe we are missing out on some of the blessing by not using a tallit and seeking to become closer to God the Son and the Holy Spirit.
